Recreation Strategies
Recreation strategies provide land managers with decision-making tools and direction to ensure successful recreation planning. CERG delivers
comprehensive environmental guidance for resort development, mountain bike management and bike park design, and recreation trail development
in areas that include risk management, trail conflict management, environmental protection, trail layout and signage, and the regulatory
framework that may affect recreational activities on Crown or private land.

Trail Design & Mapping
CERG has proven experience in the design and assessment of new and existing trails. Studies include assessments of potential impacts on vegetation and
wildlife in order to limit environmental disturbance and maximize the recreational benefit. Past projects have also included cost assessments for trail re-alignment, existing trail maintenance
and upgrades, and new trail building. Additionally, CERG are owners and operators of high end GPS equipment that can be used to delineate new trail alignments and
provide accurate mapping of existing trails.
