Geographic Information Systems
Cartography, Spatial Analysis, GPS Surveying, and Habitat Modeling.
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are a powerful analytical tool for a variety of environmental research applications.
As a fully licensed operator of ESRI ArcInfo 9.3, PCI Geomatica, and Trimble Pathfinder Office 4.10 software and owner/operators of
leading edge GPS equipment, CERG can perform technically advanced spatial analysis, image processing, and high accuracy GPS surveying.
With the ability to integrate multiple layers of spatial data from a variety sources, Cascade examines geographic relationships within the data for
land use assessments, wildlife studies, commercial recreation operations, and environmental restoration projects. 3D Spatial modeling capabilities
are used for a variety of research objectives including view-shed analysis, slope and aspect analysis, and watershed studies. Through the use of GIS
and graphic design software Cascade produces colourful, informative, professional quality cartographic products.
