The City Of Burnaby

Project Introduction:

The Burnaby Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department retained Cascade Environmental Resource Group Ltd. (CERG) to provide an environmental assessment for the new alignment of a dual use walking/mountain biking trail on Burnaby Mountain. Due to growing population and changes in trail use, the City of Burnaby wants to realign Gear Jammer to balance conservation and recreational use of the trail. Construction is due to take place in October 2007.

User Comments:

"I thought it was rippin', the city did an excellent job."

"Does the city have any other plans to build more fast/flowy singletrack in that area?"

"I thought I try out the Cardiac Classic route and discovered the New Gear Jammer and it was fun, like a down hill pump track."
